Some tech spaces don't need tidying. They need a rescue.

DeHoardTech takes on the extreme end: the offices, labs, and server rooms buried under years of hardware, cable, and paper to a genuinely pathological degree. The rooms that are too far gone for a Saturday and a label maker. We bring the crew, the plan, and zero judgment.

Milder mess? Our sister site DeclutterTech handles everyday cluttered offices.

What we take on

The jobs other crews walk away from.

Buried offices

Desks and floors you can't see, paths worn between piles, years of "I'll deal with it later." We dig it out and rebuild it into a room you can work in.

Server and hardware hoards

Racks packed with dead gear, a decade of decommissioned machines, cable by the mile. Inventoried, wiped, retired, and made safe.

E-waste at scale

When "spare parts" became a warehouse. We sort the valuable from the scrap and route the rest to real recycling, drives wiped first, always.

Paper avalanches

Filing that lost the war years ago. Shred, scan, or archive, and we find the deed, the passport, and the check hiding in the middle.

Whole-property projects

Multiple rooms, containers, outbuildings. We phase it so life keeps running while the mountain comes down.

The hardest cases

If it's the kind of room you'd never show anyone, you're exactly who we're for. We've seen worse, and we start with a plan, not a reaction.

How the rescue works

Four moves, from disaster to done. Always in this order.

  1. Assess

A discreet walkthrough. We gauge the real scale, the hazards, and what has to be protected before anything moves.

  2. Triage

A written plan and fixed quote. Keep, wipe, recycle, shred, decided up front so nothing important vanishes in the rush.

  3. Extract

Crew on site. We clear it in phases, wipe every drive, and haul with real recyclers. Daily check-ins, no surprises.

  4. Restore

Cleaned, sanitized where needed, and set back up so the space stays usable, not a room that refills in a month.

The questions people are afraid to ask

Straight answers, drawn from our knowledge base.

Is my place too far gone to fix?
No. We start every job with a plan, not a verdict. Rooms that look impossible come apart faster than you'd think once a crew and a sequence are on them. The only room we can't help is the one nobody ever calls about.
I'm mortified. Will you judge me?
No, and we mean it. We work the extreme end for a living, so there's genuinely nothing you can show us that we haven't seen. The embarrassment fades the minute someone else is carrying it out with you.
What happens to my old drives and computers?
Every drive is wiped or physically destroyed before anything leaves, with a record of what was handled. Working gear can be resold or donated on your say-so; dead gear goes to certified e-waste recycling, not a landfill.
How is this different from junk removal?
Junk crews haul everything, fast. We sort first: the heirloom, the check, the passport, and the valuable hardware get found and set aside before the truck fills. You approve the keep pile; the rest goes.
How long does an extreme cleanout take?
A single buried room is often a few days; a whole property with containers and outbuildings is a phased project over weeks. You get a written timeline before we start, and rush deadlines (inspections, sales) can be accelerated.
Can you keep it private?
Yes. Unmarked vehicles, discreet scheduling, side-access hauling, and a crew under confidentiality. What's inside the walls stays there.
What does it cost?
Every extreme job is quoted individually after a walkthrough: a fixed price in writing, no hourly meter running while you watch. Send a photo and we'll give you a real range fast.

More in the knowledge base, including how to help a parent who hoards, what to do about the emotional side, and how to keep a cleared room from refilling.

Send one photo. That's the whole first step.

No commitment, no lecture. Show us the worst corner and we'll tell you what a rescue actually looks like.
